    We are working with international counsel, advised the International Finance Corporation, on novel issues posed by the innovative equity arrangements, export credit agency support and the relatively short tenor loans. We advise shareholders/promoters of banks on re-structuring by way of acquisition, merger and sale as well as initial public offerings of shares for new banks or banks converting from a closed to public joint stock company. In addition, the team advises on the UAE Banking law and regulations, CBU's regulatory role and policies, securities registration, bankruptcy, corporate governance, compliance and other regulatory issues.
